Want a blaster with lots of ammo capacity yet not too bulky?
Buzz Bee has answered this call... with the Buzz Bee Belt Blaster!
The Buzz Bee Belt Blaster uses a pump-action spring plunger firing mechanism. The unique feature about this blaster is that it utilizes an ammo belt system and comes with a 30 dart ammo belt!
To fire the Belt Blaster, pull the front grip handle back to prime the spring plunger, at the same time this action also turns its ammo belt gear to rotate the next foam dart into position, then pull the trigger to fire.
To fire a steady volley of shots, just keep repeating this action as fast as you can!
The Belt Blaster comes packaged with 30 foam darts and 30 ammo belt shells. The ammo belt shells are all individual pieces which can be unclipped and clipped to each other easily, therefore it is possible to shorten or lengthen the ammo belt specifically to your requirements.
This blaster is 100% compatible with all Nerf foam darts too, there is enough clearance in the ammo belt chamber to rotate in all the different dart types!
Average range is around 25-30 ft, rate of fire will depend on how fast you can prime and fire the shots!

Note: To demonstrate its foam dart compatibilities, i fired the 30 dart ammo belt using 2 different dart types:
15 x Buzz Bee foam darts
15 x Nerf Tagger foam darts
Adding to its appeal... its design also bears some resemblance to the Halo Assault Rifle too. Cool!
Imho, this is one of the most effective blasters i've tried out so far, definitely worth getting one! :)
Not in stores yet I guess. So where did ya buy it from?
ReplyDeleteWell, the good news is that these new blasters just arrived at selected local stores a few days ago. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to find them avaliable at these stores:
- Black Technology (black-technology.com)
- Gift Greeting (Great World City)
- G Oikos (Thomson Plaza)
- Guerrilla Games (Serene Centre)
shall i get this of the nerf raider?
ReplyDeleteWell, the Belt Blaster has alot of ammo capacity and its quite effective as a standalone blaster, though its ammo belt cannot be used on other blasters and it does not have the Raider's "slam-fire" feature.
ReplyDeleteThe Raider's "slam-fire" feature enables the user to fire shots continuously by pump-action with the trigger pressed. In addition, the Raider drum magazine is fully compatible with the Longshot and Recon too.
So it all depends on your gameplay and blaster collection preference. :)
Do you have any suggestions for repaint? :D
ReplyDeleteAny colour i guess... as long as its not black! Too many people doing the same ole' black colour scheme. :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, colour schemes are a personal preference... perhaps you can pick a theme from movies or games and then use them as design inspirations.
for slam fire, just cock it forward and at the same time pull the trigger. that way it is 2 in 1 step, so only 2 steps needed to fire the blaster :)
ReplyDeleteit seems easy to cock, btw, is the nerf raider easy to cock for a nine year old guy?
ReplyDeleteYup, the Nerf Raider is easy to prime. These blasters are designed for ages 8+ and above anyways. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I saw one of these at a Bj's before and I thought: "WTF, SPARTAN LASER?" This really is a ripoff of Halo 3's Spartan Laser.
ReplyDeleteCould I get any belt extensions?: That would give this the ability to hold more tagger darts than comes in a refill!:-)
ReplyDeleteSo far, I've not spotted any Belt Blaster ammo belt extentions avaliable anywhere. Looks like the only way is to buy more Belt Blasters to get more ammo belts.
ReplyDeleteIt can fire as fast as the raider but u ahve to keep clicking and pumping at the same time. In my opinion, overall, it is a really good gun if you cant get your hands on a raider and will suit most players.
ReplyDeleteit looks like a spartan laser not an assualt rifle
ReplyDeletegreat gun
sweet.
ReplyDeleteim not liking my raider at the moment. not really my style of gun. im definetely getting this to replace it!
it really does look just like a "spartan laser" out of halo.
ReplyDeleteI see there is an orange circle on the tail of the gun... Is that for something or just design?
ReplyDeleteThat orange circle at the shoulder stock is non-functional, its just for design.
ReplyDeleteHi SG,
ReplyDeleteI bought one of these the other day and it shot fine at first but then it started to jam. Darts were not shot out of the shells, darts would stop in the barrel or get squished, and sometimes they came out spinning.
I couln't even shoot 10 feet.
Could you please tell me what's wrong with my blaster and how I could fix it?
Thanks
Gartha Theblu,
ReplyDeleteSounds like it could be one of many issues with either the plunger, priming mechanism, ammo belt, belt advancing mechanism, air seal etc.
Imho for such issues, its best just return your faulty unit to the store and exchange it for a brand new one. Save all the hassle. :)
Hey SG,
ReplyDeleteI saw the test fire video for your belt blaster. It looks like you have some kind of black ring on the bottom of your shells. I dont have those on my blaster.
could you tell me what they are?
Thanks
Gartha Theblu,
ReplyDeleteThe blue coloured rings on the base of the belt blast ammo belt shells are just part of the stock plastic air restrictors.
Did you get your Belt Blaster brand new from a Dept Store or though a 2nd hand seller? 'cos stock brand new Belt Blasters should have those blue air-restrictors (unless they have been removed by a previous user), though maybe the latest batch might also have it in a different colour.
I need help on how to get rid of the AR in the shell... I figure this will also help with dart clearance for using nerf darts in the rapid fire's clip
ReplyDeleteI got mine new from the department store but there were no blue rings. The bottom of the shells are orange and have nothing on them.
ReplyDeleteI think the rings are on the inside of the shells because each time I fire a dart, there is a flat disk thing inside that pops out halfway.
Might this be the problem?
Thanks.
kyle,
ReplyDeleteTo remove the ARs on the Belt Blaster ammo shells, you can use a rotary tool to drill them out.
Gartha Theblu,
ReplyDeleteThose could be the ARs in each of the ammo shells. But even though the ARs are intact, you should still be able to at least get decent 25-30ft ranges with stock Belt Blasters.
The actual problem could be from another component of the blaster. Like i mentioned, just exchange it for a new one at the dept store.
is singapore still selling belt blaster if there is where and how much is it?
ReplyDeleteBM sec 1 floorballers,
ReplyDeleteYup, you can currently find Belt Blasters at Toys R Us stores in Singapore. Last i saw recently, they were retailing for SGD$49.90.
ok thx
ReplyDeleteok thx
ReplyDeleteOk so I hate to necro rez, this but this blaster has serious copywrite infringement all over it. As it turns out, this blaster is a replica to the spartan laser from halo...
ReplyDeletehttp://bestgamewallpapers.com/halo-3/spartan-laser
They owe bungie/343 alot of money...
I cock guns soooooo muuuch fast and we dont use darts in wars so what should I choose this or double shot
ReplyDeleteCani KRAL,
ReplyDeleteWell, since you can prime blasters quickly... then get the Belt Blaster.
I forgot to say I already have rapid fire blasters lige magstrike so does this change the result
ReplyDeleteand also I must choose between an iron man magstrike and an iron man firefly(shoots 50 ft) what do you think
ReplyDeleteCani KRAL,
ReplyDeleteNo change... the Double Shot is more of a novelty blaster, not really as effective in games (unless your main objective is to look like Ash in the movie Army of Darkness!). :)
Cani KRAL,
ReplyDeleteMagstrike better, higher RoF.
which video editing program do you use
ReplyDeleteCani KRAL,
ReplyDeletePinnacle VideoSpin. :)
how much is this?
ReplyDelete~Haniff Hardy~,
DeleteAround SGD$49.90 at local Toys R Us stores in Singapore.
Somebody told me it is like the Vulcan EBF-25. Is it?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteWell, the belt-fed feature is similar but the Vulcan is a motorized full-auto blaster, while the Belt Blaster is still a manually primed blaster.
yeah this gun is a cross between the havok and the raider. no batteries too :D
ReplyDeleteWhich should I buy? A Berserker or a Belt blaster? And what is the ranges of this blasters?(Berserker and Belt blaster)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteThe belt blaster is much better, it holds 30 darts.
The ranges get about 25-30 feet.
The berserker holds 20 darts, and a glo-missile.
The ranges are the same.
Can the belt blaster actually shoot streamlines?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteIts possible, but there are plastic stalks in the belt shells which may interfere with the loading of the streamline foam darts (due to the design of streamlines), so they would usually have to be removed before usage.
