    Well, i'd say they are almost on par. Though in terms of overall design and functionality, Nerf blasters still look alot cooler and work better.

    Buzz Bee blasters have unique firing systems though (ie. shell based ammo, break-action, lever-action etc) its worth getting one or two to try out. :)

    The Double Shot and Rapid Fire firing system are pretty cool :) I want to get them as a souvenir :D

    The Mega Missile is probably the easiest to mod, but note that this blog entry is posted almost close to 2 years back, so stock availability of the blasters may not be the same.

    Hey is it possible to mod the rapid such that it doesn't need the shells?

      So far i've not seen anyone successfully mod it to not use shells, 'cos the whole firing system is designed around the shell system... i guess you could try and see if you can figure out a way. Do post an update if you manage to do it. :)
